How much does a resin bound drive cost?
The recent years have shown us that more and more people are interested in having Resin Bound surfacing installed on their driveways. Historically used for numerous commercial applications, the public are now realising that permeable Resin Bound surfacing is an affordable and attractive alternative to the rather ‘old school’ tarmac and block paving, whilst ticking the boxes in terms of SuDS compliance.
We are often asked the question how much is a Resin Bound Drive. This is sometimes a difficult question to answer without an onsite survey, or at least a detailed discussion with the customer, as there are several factors effecting the price.
As ‘a rule of thumb’, the basic Resin Bound Price is usually between £45/m2 and £65/m2, should there be no or little preliminary works to be performed to enable the resin to be laid.
The factors primarily affecting the price are;
Size of the area.
Required resin depth.
Existing surface conditions.
The most important factor affecting the £45/m2 to £65/m2 region is as you may appreciate, the existing surface condition. Preparation is key in laying resin, as it is with painting, plastering etc., so it is important that you have a fairly robust surface to receive the resin bound surfacing. Most times, existing drives are fine to work with after a little ‘tinkering’. Should you however require more extensive groundworks, then our team are always happy to complete the full package from start to finish, however great or small.
We are always at the end of a telephone in order to give you a ball park figure based on our discussions. A subsequent visit and site survey would naturally be required to confirm any costs and discuss the project it more detail.
So if you are contemplating a new resin bound drive, resin bound pathway or resin bound patio, then don’t delay! Just call or contact us and we will give you a speedy response.
